The Bluetooth capability means that (1) no wiring is needed to connect the television to a headset or speaker, or neck loop, and (2) multiple televisions can be placed in close proximity to one another without interference. This wireless feature will give any healthcare facility great flexibility in the placement and operation of its televisions. At the same time it will greatly enhance the television experience for patients.

The TV Ears TV^® was originally designed to be a senior friendly television, and because of its unique features it is ideal for the healthcare industry. The TV Ears TV^® is a 32" HD LCD 1080p television that is easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to maintain. Because there is no wiring between the TV and the user, installation costs are minimal either for a single TV or for those situations where more than one TV is needed in a room and each person wants to watch their own program.

The TV Ears TV^® will pair with any Bluetooth enabled headset, speaker or neck loop. In rooms with multiple TV and Bluetooth devices, there will be no crossover interference between either the TVs or the Bluetooth devices. The TV’s built-in variable audio out port allows for external speaker (or headphone) volume control independent of the TV. Incorporated into the TV is our proprietary Voice Clarification Circuitry, which makes hard-to-hear words and whispers easy to understand, especially for patients with hearing loss.

The TV Ears TV^® comes with our uniquely designed Universal Remote Control, which is easy to use and easy to program.

Because of the accelerating rate of development of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and speakers, and the fact that the TV Ears TV^® will work with all of these devices, TV Ears has decided that it is in the customers’ best interest to allow them to determine which manufacturer makes the accessory best suited for their needs. TV Ears has recommended certain Bluetooth products for use with the TV Ears TV^® and is happy to sell them with the TV. However, the customer is free to purchase Bluetooth products other than those which we recommend.
